Musée de la Minoterie de la Mure-Argens
This onetime textile, sheet factory was transformed into a flour mill in 1902. For 70 years this industrial mill produced flour. From which time onwards it opened its doors as a museum to the pleasure of its many visitors.
As you wander freely through the building you discover the history of this site and the incredible mechanics of the flour mill operating over 4 levels : pulleys, belts, cast iron grinders, sifters…
Lose yourself in this maze of machinery or be guided through the years of accumulated heritage. Interactive apparatus and ludic equipment permit you to touch, play and experiment with the mechanics of the old flour mill.
